    Hello!
To get me in the mood, before Lettermo, I read To The Letter by Simon Garfield, and watched The Letter starring Bette Davis.
It would be good to compile a list of relevant books and films to look out for ready for next year…
    Any ideas?

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is a wonderful book and the movie is coming to the UK soon – April, I think.

This came up last year as well — I’m not sure I can still access the epistolary thread.

My favorite is Dracula, of course.

Also, the series starring Tom Hardy, Taboo, is very letter-centric.

Also, the podcast Love and Radio published an episode about someone who finds a suitcase full of love letters:

In the Good Old Summertime with Judy Garland and Van Johnson is an old movie but a fun one.

I love writing letters to my family and friends, I blog about it at: http://scribblingsarah.blogspot.com

Thank you everyone! That’s really appreciated and interesting. I’ll keep checking back to see what else pops in.
    (Especially like old films!)
Will look at the previous thread again too, thanks MizLit – I do remember there was that now…
Did I mention I have a cushion like a postcard, a cardigan and scarf with postal decoration, postbox shaped pencil sharpener, handbag shaped like a gold envelope (I keep handmade envelopes in it)… Addicted?!
