Today I wrote a letter to a soldier and sent it to the organization “A Million Thanks” (http://www.amillionthanks.org/). I wrote about how appreciative I am of our soldiers’ sacrifice and service and about my brother’s own experience in the Army. I wrote the letter on plain notebook paper with brightly colored pens and also drew a picture of the American flag. The website says that if you include a return address or email address, many times the soldier who receives the letter will write back to you, so I gave both of those addresses in case the soldier feels like writing back. I used a “forever” stamp to send it today.
