I asked my mom if she would finish a cross-stitch cushion for me. I have never done piping. I didn’t want to mess it up after the time I spent on the cross-stitching. I sent her the stitching, backing fabric, cording, thread, the magazine and a couple other things I’d been saving for her. I’ll have to send her some money later for the pillow insert and postage back.
I sent a note and a bookmark for a swap at swap-bot to California. I hope she likes it. It has a bead on it but I put it in a regular envelope. I paid the extra postage and wrote non-machinable so hopefully they pay attention and don’t run it through the machine. Fingers crossed.
