I went to bed last night, woke up at about 3 am realizing I’d neglected to log my mailings for Tuesday. Oops! Just two postcards, hand-cancelled.

I’m planning my final two mailings for tomorrow, a follow-up to the ones I sent to the Postmaster General and the stamp advisory committee on Day1. I’ll send a count of the postcards, letters and packages I mailed during the month, and urge them to consider issuing a write-more-letters stamp, or series of same (if they can’t honor the Month of Letters specifically, perhaps a series of great American letter-writers? Emily Dickinson, Kurt Vonnegut, Richard Feynman, Flannery O’Connor….. And I’ll urge them to for goodness’ sakes to come up with better designs for postcard stamps; so BORING; couldn’t they at least have identified the varieties of apples?
