Growing up, my brother and I would spend a week or two every summer with our aunt and uncle. They’re the coolest. We would go to the pool, watch movies, and go exploring together. Growing up changes things, and distance makes it hard to get together more than once every year or two, but this is a nice way to stay in touch and maintain a connection that could easily slip away.
Also, I just got these sweet new cards by Cavallini that are various maps of the world and my aunt and uncle are the first ones to get one. My aunt took me to Europe for a high school graduation gift (many moons ago), and the card I chose will be a neat reminder for her of that trip.
