I know some of you have mail blogs. I figured it would be cool to document my Month of Letters, so I started a blog today.

Add your blog below!

January 30, 2013 at 6:32 pm #2377Deborah, I read yours and have commented a few times. I love blogs, especially those about letters, pen pals, paper, pens, etc.

I am not sure if I will document my LetterMo or not. I’ve just gotten a divorce and am, for the moment, a bit pickier about what I post for the world to read than I used to be. On the one hand, it’s no one’s business how much I spend in postage or how often I send letters, so on that side, I want to blog about it. On the other hand, I don’t want certain people keeping tabs on my life and what I’m doing with my time and income, so I would rather either not post about it this time around, OR just do one sort of “summary” post with the end result. Anyone have any advice on my utter inability to make a decision?? LOL

Zeb Ahmed Letter scribbler from Auckland, New ZealandJanuary 30, 2013 at 7:28 pm #2380I won’t blog specifically about LetterMo, but I do blog daily about postcards on Orphaned Postcard Project. And, I tag my Twitter posts with #lettermo when I’m sending it, and there are always photos.
Postable, the easy way to get mail from me, https://www.postable.com/postmuseJanuary 30, 2013 at 7:32 pm #2381@TheModestPeacock I understand where you’re coming from. Does your ex know the blog address? If so, maybe start another blog just for LetterMo, something anonymous. You can always just post about it here and use this site for blogging purposes.

It’s not strictly a mail blog though. I’ve been debating if I want to start a separate one or not. Decisions, decisions…..I also have a photography blog that I haven’t kept up with so that’s why I figured I’d just blog about my mail on my regular blog when I felt like it so I don’t feel like I’m being pulled in too many directions.

I think they do, but I don’t really want to set up anything new… I’m thinking about creating a Flikr album for LetterMo and putting a link to it on my blog page about letter writing. I doubt anyone wishing me any ill will would bother to do all that link chasing. Then at least I’d feel like it wasn’t so in the open and I could link it here.
Find me on Postable: http://www.postable.com/jennyrayJanuary 30, 2013 at 7:45 pm #2384*amendment: I know I said I didn’t want to set up anything new and then mentioned creating something- I meant in the form of a whole new blog to sign into. I am already “2 people” with a blog called Lucy Jane’s Writing Desk (http://www.lucyjanepennybright.blogspot.com). I already have a Flikr for The Modest Peacock and making an album would be faster than creating a blog. I hope I’m more logical and articulate when I write my letters this month! I think I need to crash in bed early! LOL

I wouldn’t worry about starting a blog, just have fun with the letter writing, a wonderful environment where you can communicate with others, free of prying eyes, you chose to share what you are comfortable sharing. And you can post about it here on the Month of Letters pages, I’m sure many of us will.
Just enjoy yourself.January 30, 2013 at 8:37 pm #2391I have a blog: http://scribblingsarah.blogspot.com/. It’s not all mail relate, it’s more a combination of mail/decorating. I haven’t been doing it much for a year, but have been getting back into it lately and hope to post some about the my Month of Letters progress and maybe some photos.
January 30, 2013 at 8:55 pm #2394I just took a peek at some of the blogs and they look great! I have to resist being pulled in by them because I would spend all my free time tonight checking them out instead of starting to write letters!
