Hello everyone!
There doesn’t seem to be a way of seeing if I was the one who requested friendship, or vice versa? I feel I need to keep track if the etiquette is that the requester writes first… Thoughts…? -

Hello, yes, there’s a way to find out!
Go to your profile – Activity.
You’ll see:
1) Elizabeth and X are now friends, with your friend’s picture -> this means you requested friendship
OR
2) X and Elizabeth are now friends, with your picture -> your friend requested and you accepted.
I hope this trick helps!-

This is an excellent way to keep track! Additionally, if you have notification emails turned on, you can also search your email inbox for “has accepted your friend request” or “new friendship request from”. Any emails with the former search term (accepted) are people that you sent a request to, and any emails with the latter search term (new friendship) are people who requested you first! I do it via email so I can see all of them right next to each other.

Hello! Is it expected that the requester mails a letter first? This is my first time doing LetterMo.

Hey friends, I also just learned about the etiquette of friend-requester-writes first, but I found a much simpler solution to seeing the list!
Go to your profile and then to “Notifications,” click “Read” and then from the dropdown menu (it automatically says “Everything”) choose “Accepted friend requests.” It shows the list in reverse chronological order (most recent first) but if you click the arrow beside “Date received” it’ll show oldest first. I’ve been writing to the folks who I requested, in the order that they accepted my friend request.
Happy writing!
