Yesterday, I received a surprise in the mail – a letter from Jacqueline, who had friended me here at the beginning of the month. How fun to get a note from a potential new pen pal. I wrote a reply last night and mailed that today.

I also made a 2nd attempt at sending a holiday card that had been returned to me.
