Hello! I’m Hilpi, and at 65, I’m loving every moment of retirement! With three adult children and 34 years of marriage (he is the love of my life), family is the cornerstone of my life. Culture captivates me, and there’s nothing quite like the thrill of travelling, meeting new people, and immersing myself in unfamiliar experiences. Learning is my lifelong pursuit, and I eagerly embrace almost every chance to broaden my horizons. But what brings me the most joy is the simple pleasure of writing and receiving snail mail — there’s something so special about the connection found in those handwritten letters. What a wonderful idea this Letter Writing Month is!
