LetterMo Wrapped – 2025

At the end of LetterMo 2025, we invited folks to report back how many letters they mailed during February in our 2025 LetterMo Tally. Forty-six of our participants responded, and among them they mailed out an impressive 1,739 letters and postcards!

As we count down the days until LetterMo 2026, we thought it would be fun to dig a little deeper into the numbers. The average reported number of pieces of mail sent was 38, but that number was skewed by a few extraordinarily prolific letter writers—the median number of pieces of mail sent was 28, or about one letter per day during the month.

So, who sent the most pieces of mail? The number one spot went to user sacdalton, with 182 letters and postcards. The second and third spots were taken by ETA55 and CareBooksandPie with 123 and 120 pieces of mail, respectively.

Finally, while the majority of our 2025 Tally respondents were from the USA, we were excited to receive responses from participants in the Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom as well. In the future, we hope to see an even more diverse number of countries represented in our annual tally!

So keep track of the number of letters you send in LetterMo 2026 and watch for our 2026 Tally, which will launch at the end of February, and help us measure how much mail our community of letter writers is able to send this year!
