Help us feed the snail mail!

When I put forward my application to become the LetterMo Treasurer, I never imagined there was such a fantastic team of passionate people behind the LetterMo project. I still remember my first chat with Ahmed to learn about the strategic plan for Lettermo, the day I met Adam to talk about how the IT side of things run and how to forget our beautiful Chair soul, Christy, who keeps everyone right.

I consider myself lucky to be able to work with this amazing team and to learn from them and being fully honest, I am impressed that so many talented individuals are offering their time, effort and creativity for free. We really live in a kind world <3

One of the duties that I have as a Treasurer is to ensure that we have enough funds to keep LetterMo running. The hosting of the site, the domain, even the small fees that we pay to ensure we have enough capacity in the servers to answer all your emails… cost real world money. And let me tell you that Lettermo does not get any funding from investors or advertisements whilst the site is free for everyone to use, worldwide.

As your Treasurer, my service to you and to the Board is to ensure that this project of human connection is financially viable and can continue for many years to come. To ensure our digital “home” stays glitch-free and accessible for 2026 and beyond, we need to raise some funds to ensure that the server costs and site maintenance can be paid.

• Small Donations: Even a couple of pounds, dollars, euros or whatever currency you have in your country makes a huge difference. You can even become a member if you wish, a lifetime supporter of letter writing for humanity. If you enjoy using the site and connecting safely to people all around the world, please consider supporting.
• Grab Some Swag: LetterMo Sticker Sheets are available! Whilst they have been kept at a very reasonable price, there is a very small margin that goes towards LetterMo ongoing maintenance costs. This is a great way to support the site while decorating your outgoing mail.
• Spread the Word: If you can’t donate, sharing this post with your penpals is just as valuable. Or you can volunteer your time in one of the current open positions.
