It’s the final day of LetterMo 2026! However much you were able to participate this year, whether that meant sending a letter every day or only sending a few throughout the month, we hope that you’ve had a great experience creating new connections and friendships with people from around the world.
As we wrap up this year, we’re asking you to help us tally up how many letters we collectively sent this February. Using the Google Form linked below, please let us know how many letters you sent, your LetterMo username (so that we can be sure we’re only counting folks once), and your country. Note that we’ve made the form link only visible to logged-in participants to keep it from being spammed. If you don’t see a form button at the bottom of the page, please make sure you are logged into the site.
Then, check back on this page for updates–the numbers above will update automatically as participants fill out the form. When it is all done, we’ll put together a little report on LetterMo 2026 to share with the community.
Thank you for a great LetterMo 2026 and don’t forget to check out our online shop if you can–all the proceed go to helping pay for this website.

Final tally is 34, although the last two got dropped in the box, but shortly after the pick up of that boxes contents for the day, so it won’t be picked up again until Monday. One is staying in Utah, while the other is going to Oklahoma. I was hoping to get one or two more out as well, but that didn’t happen.
I sent an additional 11 out today. I had to get more stamps, so they aren’t included in my February count to be able to send them.
Thank you everyone!
I’m now into March and writing back to the letters I’ve received. That’s what I had hoped–I’d lost contact with quite a few of the folks that I used to write to. Texting, social media and all that jazz happened and letter writing sort of got lost in the noise. I’m really grateful I’ve been able to reconnect and find a couple new folks to come to know. I didn’t realize how much I missed the art of pen to paper. And how much more personal that is to any of the social media that’s out there today. Definitely NOT the same as a letter in the mail. Thanks for helping get me back to some of the basics that still hold meaning.
I’m going to say I sent out 32 pieces of mail this LetterMo. I didn’t keep track as well as I usually do so it could have been more. I do know this was the first year I was able to keep up with my replies. I only had 2 replies to still answer at the end of February & one of them was started in February.
I almost missed the count for 2026. I was very busy writing in February but have not fully responded to some of my new penpals. So sorry, the month has slipped away in many snowy days of travel and then in March I was on a course from March 3 to 7th. I plan to get to them soon. I even had a card making day during March in which I hosted 6 friends and we made a card out of paper and cardstock for Valentine’s 2025. I really enjoyed my new experience with LetterMo and it kept me from the blues for sure.
