A collaborative blog post
Thank you to everyone who contributed to make today’s post!
I usually light a relaxing candle, put on some soft music, and clear my desk or writing space so I can focus entirely on my letter at hand. – Measi
First I gather all my supplies. I like to have a selection of stationery, a favourite pen and a bottle of cold water. I write on my lap leaning on a book. If I am writing at night I like to have a glass of white wine.

Being comfortable and ease in when writing postcards or letters. – Anita E.
I enjoyed writing to start off my day or when I need to focus or unwind. I carry some fountain pens I like, a few cards, sheets of paper, some stickers and postage stamps – this package allows letters to be written and sent off if they are completed.

I don’t really have one. I just pick out fun supplies and start writing. – Fly46
In winter time, I enjoy lighting a candle or some incense and write whilst drinking a cup of tea.
When the weather is warmer, I really love to open the windows and listen to the birds outside whilst I gather my thoughts on paper.
Open the letter I will respond to; get all my stationeries and pens to use; place stamps and address on the envelope; write letter. – Leila F
My only ritual is to have the correspondence that I’m responding to on hand, and to try to keep my cats off of my writing surface and “helping” by playing with the pen. What makes you feel ready to write your pen pals?
