A collaborative blog post
Thank you to everyone who contributed to make today’s post!
I took on a penpal who is a postal worker and felt my gratitude well up thinking about the service he provides to his community, so I decided to send him all my appreciation for all postal workers for the noble profession that they seek to undertake. Sharing admiration and appreciation for those amongst us that contribute to keeping the world well-informed and enabling communication are true pillars within our communities, and we should shower them with admiration every chance we get!

I received a letter from a friend (Friend A), in which she mentioned how much she loved a mutual friend of ours (Friend B). So I wrote a letter to Friend B to spread the good vibes and tell her how grateful Friend A and I are for her friendship. I didn’t know it, but Friend B has been going through a difficult time, and the letter represented a well-timed and much-needed hug! – yaymalika
I used to write every years to an unknown alzeimer grandma, she died this year. I know nothing about her but she will miss me…
One of my favorite penpal was meet by the lettermo challenge and know we are long distance friend. We probably never will meet in live , but it’s a true friendship.
It has been a good month, and I am grateful for my fellow board members, my pen pals, everyone who contributed to these posts, and all the LetterMo community for being kind and thoughtful people. I look forward to your replies to our final collaborative blog post of 2024.

Maybe counts as a gratitude letter: I wrote to an artist. I’d been given a sketch at Xmas. With a bit of research, found that she’s an elderly artist of repute, with lots of info available. Wow! Told her the story of how I found her and how exciting this new path of investigation/interest is… sent a photo of the sketch so she’ll know what I’m talking about, and of my own work too (amateur!). I guess the real gratitude is to the person who gave me this sketch – I have told them all about the letter.
